Writers in the Schools Student Anthology 2022-23 Launch

Each year, Literary Arts’ Writers in the Schools (WITS) program publishes an anthology of exemplary student work and invites them to read their writing at Portland Book Festival. This year’s anthology, Hope is a Stem, showcases poetry, prose, and journalism written by high school students from across Portland, east Multnomah County, and Woodburn. All proceeds from the sale of the anthologies goes back to support WITS programming.

Portland Book Festival General Admission Passes are required for entry into all events. Passes are $15 in advance and $25 day of Festival. Youth 17 & under get in FREE. All full-priced General Admission Passes include a $5 book fair voucher and entry into Portland Art Museum. Passes admit attendees to the Festival; individual events are first-come, first-served.
