Carrie Tillotson’s debut picture book Counting to Bananas, illustrated by Estrela Lourenço, was an Oregon Spirit Book Award Honor Book, Oregon Book Awards finalist, and selected for Amazon’s Best Books of the Year So Far. Before she started writing children’s books, Carrie worked as a biostatistician. Her job involved counting a lot of numbers (but not many bananas). She lives in Oregon with her husband and son, two dogs, and two chickens. Her new book is B Is for Bananas, illustrated by Estrela Lourenço.
