On Thursday Nov. 2 at 6:30pm, join creators, Kate Mura, Ki Ridenour-Starnes, Megan Murphy Ruckman & Shareen Jacobs as they discuss adapting Women of the Golden Dawn by Mary K. Greer, for the stage.
In this hybrid event, they will converse and answer the questions: why did we choose this book to adapt? Why are these women’s stories important to current audiences? Are there parallels between women’s experiences in Victorian England and in today’s America? How can we apply Annie, Florence, Maud and Moina’s work for acceptance in the magical and mundane worlds, to our own?
And how can my book end up on stage?
To attend IRL, please join us at Raven’s Wing Magical Co-Op, 7927 SE 13th Ave, Portland, OR 97202.
To attend virtually, please register here.
Limit of 100.
