Charity E. Yoro<\/strong> is a steward of words and other living beings. Her writing has appeared in the New York Times, The Rumpus, poets.org, Tupelo Quarterly, and elsewhere, and has been supported by Tin House, Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC), and Sustainable Arts Foundation (SAF). Charity has received Pushcart Prize and Orison Anthology nominations, and residencies at Mineral School and Sou\u2019wester. Born, raised, and educated on the east side of O\u2018ahu, she currently lives in Portland, Oregon with her wild, loving family. ten-cent flower & other territories (First Matter Press, Sept 2023) is her debut poetry collection.<\/p>\n
