Hetty Lui McKinnon<\/strong> is a Chinese Australian cook and food writer. A James Beard Foundation finalist, she is the author of four other cookbooks, including the much-loved\u00a0To Asia, With Love\u00a0<\/em>(2021), the award-winning\u00a0Family: New Vegetarian Comfort Food to Nourish Every Day<\/em>\u00a0(2019),\u00a0Neighbourhood: Hearty Salads and Plant-Based Recipes from Home and Abroad<\/em>\u00a0(2017), and\u00a0Community: Salad Recipes from Arthur Street Kitchen<\/em>\u00a0(2014).\u00a0Hetty is also the editor and publisher of multicultural food journal\u00a0Peddler\u00a0<\/em>and the host of the magazine\u2019s podcast\u00a0The House Specials.<\/em>\u00a0She is a regular recipe contributor to\u00a0The New York Times<\/em>,\u00a0Bon Appetit<\/em>,\u00a0Epicurious.com,\u00a0and\u00a0ABC Everyday;\u00a0and her recipes have appeared in Food52, the\u00a0Guardian<\/em>,\u00a0The Washington Post<\/em> and more.
