He is also the author of\u00a0<em>Just Because<\/em>, illustrated by Isabelle Arsenault;\u00a0<em>A Polar Bear in the Snow<\/em>, illustrated by Shawn Harris;\u00a0<em>John\u2019s Turn<\/em>, illustrated by Kate Berube; and\u00a0<em>Twenty Questions<\/em>, illustrated by Christian Robinson. Winner of three\u00a0<em>New York Times<\/em>\/New York Public Library Best Illustrated Children\u2019s Book Awards and the\u00a0<em>Boston Globe\u2013Horn Book<\/em> Award, Mac Barnett lives in Oakland, California.
