How Should a Person Read? a Zine Book Report Workshop
6:30pm – 8:00pm
PAM CUT // Center for an Untold Tomorrow

Let’s make book reports!
This event is for people who want to explore their feelings about books – from childhood favorites to recent hate-reads – by creating book reports for adults. No artistic experience required. Whether you’re obsessed with your latest literary discovery or still processing a book you absolutely hated, this event invites you to turn those feelings into works of art using a simple zine format and surprising prompts.
Creators Christie George (Sonoma County, CA) and Kara Leibowitz (Portland) will provide materials and guidance for hands-on crafting at the boundary between literary and visual arts, building on their own quirky book-making practices. Christie is the producer of The Emergency Was Curiosity, a limited edition hand-illustrated book report inspired by Jenny Odell’s How to Do Nothing. Kara is a cookbook author whose Aftertimes Almanac takes the form of an old-fashioned circular rolodex.
The $6.00 workshop fee ($8.24 with processing fees) includes supplies. Click here to reserve your spot!
