Close out Portland Book Festival with a special edition of Soju Party, celebrating Korean food, drinking culture, and Irene Yoo’s James Beard Award-winning cookbook, Soju Party: How to Drink (and Eat!) Like a Korean.
Irene Yoo is a Korean American food writer, recipe developer, chef, and co-owner of Brooklyn’s Orion Bar. Her work explores Korean food and drinking traditions, and the culture of gathering around the table.
Expect Han Oak favorites and anju-inspired bites alongside specialty soju + wine cocktails with CHO Wines, and plenty of reasons to raise a glass. Irene will be there celebrating the book, with copies available for purchase throughout the evening.
