Science fiction and fantasy can transport us to the distant future, the distant past, or to a reality far detached from our own. Join Write Around Portland for a workshop that will use sensory activities to truly unleash your imagination! Along the way, we’ll do a lot of writing and sharing, and we’ll practice giving each other positive, specific feedback. Finally, we’ll explore answers to the question: what makes an imaginary world feel “real”?

This free class is intended for pre-teens/middle-school age students.

Portland Book Festival General Admission Passes are required for entry into all events, and all youth (ages 17 and under) receive free admission. More info here.
