Nixta Taqueria x OK Chicken
Portland Book Festival welcomes Austin’s James Beard Award-winning and MICHELIN-recognized Nixta Taqueria to town.
Owners Sara Mardanbigi and James Beard Award-winning chef Edgar Rico are bringing their new cookbook, Nixta Taqueria Presents: From Tacos to Tahdig, and teaming up with chef Earl Ninsom and the crew at OK Chicken for a special Portland pop-up.
For one day, OK Chicken will make room for Nixta, to offer a special menu featuring dishes from the beloved Austin taqueria alongside the OK Chicken menu. It’s a meeting of two restaurants, two cities, and two distinct culinary points of view, all in one place.
Edgar and Sara will be on hand to meet guests, hang out, and sign copies of the new book. Bring your copy along, or pick one up onsite, and get it signed by the authors.
