Gabriel Urza

Gabriel Urza is the author of the novels The Silver State and All That Followed, as well as the novellas The Last Supper and The White Death: An Illusion, which was an Oregon Book Award finalist. His creative nonfiction has appeared in the New York Times, Salon, Slate, Politico, Travel + Leisure, and other publications. He is a professor of creative writing at Portland State University, a former public defender, and a licensed attorney who practices criminal defense in Nevada.
