Daniel H. Wilson is a Cherokee citizen and author of the New York Times bestselling Robopocalypse and its sequel Robogenesis, as well as How to Survive a Robot Uprising, The Clockwork Dynasty, and The Andromeda Evolution (an authorized sequel to The Andromeda Strain). He earned a Ph.D. in robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as master’s degrees in machine learning and robotics. Wilson lives in Portland, Oregon. His latest book is titled Hole in the Sky.

Portland Book Festival Passes are required for entry into all events

General Admission Festival Passes are $18 in advance and $25 day of Festival. Youth 17 & under get in FREE. All full-priced General Admission Passes include a $5 book fair voucher and entry into Portland Art Museum. Passes admit attendees to the Festival; individual events are first-come, first-served. Add-on tickets required for special events. All passes must be exchanged for a wristband before entry into any festival venue
